Montreal Commemorates the 40th Anniversary of the Munich Massacre

On the occasion of the Olympic Games of London, the families of the Israeli athletes murdered at the Olympic Games of Munich have called on the International Olympic Committee to hold a minute of silence to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Munich Massacre.

Despite the support of Western governments and leaders, the Olympic Committee has refused to heed the call of the bereaved families.

On the eve of the opening of the London Games, let us stand with the bereaved Israeli families and honour the memory of the 11 athletes killed at the Olympic Games of Munich.
