On the eve of the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (Quebec) in cooperation with Federation CJA, organized a commemoration ceremony for the 12 athletes and coaches brutally killed during the 1972 Games in Munich.

Over 250 people attended,  as well as diplomats from various countries including the UK, the US, Bavaria, Denmark,  the Russian Federation and of course Israel and Federal MP Irwin Cotler.
